Guest Artists from the New Orleans International Dance Festival

The Acadiana Center for the Arts presents a dynamic evening of movement and creativity featuring selected artists from the 2026 International Dance Festival New Orleans. Cutting-edge choreographers and performers bring their original works to the Spotlight Series, creating a rich intermingling of local spirit and global contemporary dance. Aina Alegre's "At Dawn" brings together Gulf South dancers and an all-female New Orleans brass band in a vibrant exploration of ritual, celebration, and collective movement. Diana Salles' "Delusional" fuses circus arts and contemporary dances, showcasing extraordinary physicality, risk, and theatrical imagination to stretch the boundaries of what dance can be.
