The LSU Rural Life Museum's annual event, "Haints, Haunts, and Halloween" honors the sights, sounds, and activities of an old-fashioned country Halloween. Storytelling, cake walks, pumpkin decorating, games, and the timeless art of trick-or-treating will take place on the museum’s grounds. Costumes encouraged, of course. 2 pm–4:30 pm. $12; $6 for ages 4-12; free for ages 3 and younger. lsu.edu/rurallife. bontempstix.com.
