Make your way down to Main Street in New Roads for the annual Harvest Festival on False River, a celebration of community and agricultural heritage. This year the festival features carnival rides, a 5K, live music, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, contests, and much more to showcase the local harvest. 5 pm–10 pm Friday; 10 am–10 pm Saturday; 1 pm–5 pm Sunday. $11 per day. harvestfestivalnewroads.com.
