Political cartoons are so tied to a certain time and anxiety that it's downright fascinating to look back later at the buffoons and shysters who dominated an era. The Louisiana Old State Capitol's current exhibit, Lines with Power and Purpose: Editorial Cartoons, deciphers over fifty cartoons from the Golden Age of print journalism.
