Few things go together like the comforting staples barbecue and beer. That's why the weekend before Independence Day, Tin Roof Brewing Co. welcomes chef Jay Ducote and his Bite & Booze team for a 4th of July BBQ Bash. Chef Jay and his team will be selling heaping plates of smokey barbecue and the sides that go best with it for $10, and Tin Roof will debut its new Watermelon Wheat Ale that same evening. Admission is free, and 20% of all food and drink purchases goes to the Baton Rouge Food Bank. 6-10 pm.
