"it takes a long time to stay here"

Presented by the Newcomb Art Museum of Tulane University, it takes a long time to stay here: Paintings by Jordan Ann Craig, showcases the work of the contemporary New Mexico-based artist's large-scale, abstract paintings. The exhibition originates at the Block Museum of Art at Northwestern University and reflects the artist's relationship with her community's Northern Cheyenne aesthetic traditions, as well as her exploration of dynamic, vivid color and geometric form. Attend a free reception September 19, 6 pm–8:30 pm. newcombartmuseum.tulane.edu.
