Jimmy Buffett: Son of a Son of a Sailor Experience Grand Opening

Jimmy Buffett diehards can now further celebrate the life of the legendary musician. The National Maritime Museum of the Gulf is debuting the Jimmy Buffett Son of a Son of a Sailor Experience, a first-of-its-kind exhibit celebrating the life, music, storytelling, and cultural influence of one of the Gulf Coast’s favorite sons. (Remember, Pascagoula-born Buffett grew up in Mobile.) Over 130 artifacts from Buffett’s life will be on display, including handwritten lyrics, guitars, and a full-size replica of Shrimp Boat Sound (his iconic Key West recording studio). $19 includes admission to the rest of the museum. nmmog.org.
