June Events at The Red Shoes

The Red Shoes, a nonprofit devoted to wellness and creativity in Baton Rouge, has an extensive slate of events this June. Some of these include:
- June 5–July 17: Memoir in Moments: A Community Writing Circle—A six-week writing circle using simple prompts to help participants write meaningful vignettes. 11 am–12:30 pm, on Fridays.
- June 13: Acrylic New Orleans House Paintings—A workshop led by local artist Veronica Hallock guiding participants through a playful acrylic painting experience. 10 am–noon.
- June 20: Seasons of the Soul: A Summer Solstice Workshop—An immersive workshop to help participants align with the Earth's natural rhythms, initiated by the Summer Solstice. 2 pm–4 pm.
- June 21: Longest Day, Deepest Rest: A Solstice Sound Immersion—A restorative Sound Immersion using Tibetan Singing Bowls and Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls, led by Sound Healing Therapist Lissee Spiller. 3 pm–4:30 pm.
