Kids' Orchestra Spring Neighborhood Concert Series

The Neighborhood Concert Series is Kids' Orchestra's signature concert program that celebrates our students’ progress and achievements and allows them to showcase the musical skills they have developed in our afterschool program. Students from our six program sites will perform one to three simple musical pieces in their respective music groups: Foundations (Kindergarten to 1st grade), plus violin, viola, cello & double bass, clarinet, percussion, trumpet, trombone, and flute. Our 2020 Spring Neighborhood Concert Series performances begin at 5:30 pm and are free and open to the public:

-Thursday, May 7: Westdale Heights Academic Magnet
-Monday, May 11: LaSalle Elementary School
-Tuesday, May 12: Zachary Elementary School
-Wednesday, May 13: Baton Rouge Foreign Language Academic Immersion Magnet
-Thursday, May 14: The Dufrocq School
ABOUT KIDS' ORCHESTRA: Founded in 2010, Kids' Orchestra's mission is to impact children's lives by creating a sense of community through afterschool musical training and enrichment programs. Our afterschool program offers students the opportunity to learn an instrument, perform for audiences, and develop skills that are important to their growth as young people.
