Over a three-year period of traveling, Aurora Nealand wrote and recorded the music for KindHumanKind as a solo project. Now, the work has expanded into an intimate and theatrical new identity under the unique design and direction of Goat in the Road, which debuted to great acclaim at the Contemporary Arts Cebter in 2019. By popular demand, Aurora, Goat in the Road, and the CAC are partnering once again to bring KindHumanKind back to the CAC Warehouse. This live performance will present a visual world that showcases Nealand’s unique talents as a storyteller and musician, while bringing to life her musical world, as well as New Orleans musicians free feral (Leyla McCalla Band, Sing River Shout: a ritual in reparations), Tiffany Lamson (The Givers), and Alexis Marceaux (Sweet Crude). 7:30 pm; 2 pm on April 11. $20 for CAC members; $25 for general admission. cacno.org.
