This year's  Krewe of Poseidon parade boasts the theme “The World Is Your Oyster,” featuring a host of floats and marching bands channeling the spirit of the sea. The parade begins at the intersection of Berkley Street and Spartan Drive in Slidell. 6 pm. Free. poseidonslidell.com.
