The creative talent of St. Tammany Parish abounds in an upcoming exhibit at the Christwood Atrium Gallery, featuring the work of over forty female artists from the area. Curator Don Marshall, a founder and the first Director of the New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center, a former Director of the St. Tammany Art Association and present Executive Director of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation, says of the exhibit: "What I have found is a cornucopia of unique, beautiful works of art created by more than forty talented artists from St. Tammany Parish. It is an eclectic celebration of color, form, harmony, and dissonance."
The exhibit will be on display form March 4 to April 26, with an opening reception on March 9 from 4:30 pm–6:30 pm. For more information contact John Maginnis at johnmaginnis2@gmail.com. christwoodrc.com/atrium-gallery.
