Lighting of the Tree, featuring Chubby Carrier

Don't miss the annual Lighting of the Tree Concert in Parc International in Downtown Lafayette—which has been transformed into a winter wonderland with a twenty-five-foot-tall Christmas tree. Enjoy performances by Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band on the main stage. Look forward to photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, holiday crafts, snacks provided by local restaurants, and creative installations by local artists at area businesses. 6 pm–9 pm.
