Linda Beach at HRAC

This September, the Hammond Regional Arts Center (HRAC) will “Arboreal Musings,” an exhibition by fiber artist Linda Beach. Beach’s love of fiber art began at an early age with knitting, embroidery, needlepoint, and weaving; the largely self-taught artist now focuses primarily on art quilt. Her work is shaped by her love of the outdoors and inspired in part by the prints found in commercial fabrics. An opening reception with the artist will be held on Friday, September 8, from 5 pm-8 pm. hammondarts.org.
