Live Well Ascension

To foster community health, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is hosting Live Well Ascension, a free community event inviting all to take charge of their health. Attendees can receive free cancer screenings for five different types of cancer, including breast, colorectal, oral, prostate, and skin—as well as blood pressure and glucose checks. There will also be food, music, and fun activities for the entire family. 9 am—1 pm at Jambalaya Park. Appointments are required at marybird.org/gonzales/live-well-ascension.
