Livingston Parish Book Festival

Revel in the written word at the Livingston Parish Library's annual book festival. Returning for a tenth year, the book festival held at the Main Branch of the Livingston Parish Library system is a family-friendly event that includes book signings, author discussions, face painting, live music, food trucks, games, and other library activities. This year's headlining author is Mari Mancusi, a New York Times and USAToday bestselling author. Other authors include Shannon Kelley Atwater, a children’s author/illustrator based in New Orleans; Baptiste Paul, a Caribbean-born children’s book author, speaker, environmentalist, and activist; and Rachel M.Marsh, a Louisiana native and critically acclaimed middle grade author.11 am–4 pm.
