Orpheum Sessions: Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra presents Dvořák's Symphony No. 8

The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra is setting up at the Orpheum Theatre for a performance of Dvořák's Symphony No. 8, introduced by Gabriella Smith's Field Guide and a symphony by Florence Price—all led by guest conductor Vinay Parameswaran. Doors open at 6 pm. A pre-concert talk will take place from 6:30 pm–7 pm. $25–55; $10 for students and children. An open rehearsal will also take place at 10 am that day. $10. lpomusic.com.
