Louisiana Winter Garden

At Longue Vue Gardens, LSU AgCenter Agent Anna Timmerman guides a group in preparing gardens for cooler temperatures. Learn which plants will add a splash of seasonal color while lasting all winter long. The class will cover ornamental flowering plants as well as the best cool season vegetables and herbs. Winter is also well suited for tackling heavier garden tasks, like pruning roses and woody ornamentals, trimming trees, and pruning back unruly tropicals. $10; $5 for members.
