The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra's 2024—2025 season gets underway at the Orpheum Theater with a performance of Pulse, an original piece penned by Brian Raphael Nabors, assistant professor of composition at the LSU School of Music. Also on repertoire will be performances of Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Berlioz’s magnificent Symphonie Fantastique. Arrive early to enjoy a pre-concert talk by Maestro Matthew Kraemer at 6:30 pm. Concert begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets at lpomusic.com.
