The Msnship Theatre is one of 500 worldwide venues hosting simultaneous showings of the the ten finalists in the Manhattan Short Film Festival—a format that offers attendees the chance to view, then vote for, their favorite films and performers. And with past finalists having gone on to receive Oscar nominations in the "short film" category, the festival has become known as a breeding ground for the next big thing in film.
