Talented Louisiana-based artist Cheri Fry will lead a mini workshop on stylized painting for artists of all backgrounds and skill sets at the Lafayette Art Association. Participants will learn to utilize water mediums like watercolor, gouche, acrylic, chalk paint, or pastel to create their own stylized paintings that highlight color, design, and movement. Participants will need their own 9x12 or 11x14 canvases (canvas boards) or heavy multimedia or watercolor paper and photo references for painting; paint and brushes will be available. 9 am–1 pm or 1:30 pm–5:30 pm. $60 members, $65 non-members.
