Taking place in conjunction with the Ponchatoula Trade Days and Craft Fair, the Greater Baton Rouge Model Railroaders are inviting model train lovers to an outdoor model train show and steam up at the First Baptist Church Gymnasium on Pine Street. This is the place to see real live steam model locomotives being demonstrated as well as elaborate indoor and outdoor electric trains in all scales—from tiny Z-scale to large Garden Railroad trains. 9 am–3 pm at 325 East Pine Street. $5; free for children 6 and under. greaterbrrailroaders.com.
