Musical Louisiana Family Day

Bring the kids, ya mama, and ya papa too for a morning spent celebrating the sounds of Louisiana at the Historic New Orleans Collection. Visitors can try their hands at musical glass sounds, create a colorful tambourine, build their own rainbow panpipes, and more. Musicians from the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra will have an instrument showcase, followed by a special performance. 10 am–noon. Free. hnoc.org.
