My French Book Fest

Sponsored by the Consulate General of France in Louisiana, Villa Albertine, and in partnership with the Alliance Française de La Nouvelle-Orléans, the annual My French Book Fest spans three Louisiana regions—New Orleans, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge—is Louisiana's only celebration of the French language specifically targeted toward youth. 

Grounded in immersion, culture, and history, the book festival promotes youth literacy in French and encourages children to learn more about French-language literature and cultural connections through school visits, public performances, creative workshops, book fairs, and more. Featured guests include children's author Susie Morgenstern, illustrator Ilya Green, author and performer Micah, illustrator Chantal Piché, and Louisiana artists including Zachary Richard, Barry Ancelet, and Dana Kress.
