Native American Basket Workshop

Learn the artistry and craft of long-leaf pine needle basket weaving at the West Baton Rouge Museum. Coinciding with the exhibition Weaving Nature: Louisiana’s Native American Basketry, the beginner workshop will be led by Elisabeth Pierite, a member of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe and Cultural Specialist for the Language & Culture Revitalization Program. 1 pm–4:30 pm.
