To celebrate seventy years of bringing state of the art performances to the Crescent City, New Orleans Friends of Music is launching their 2024-2025 season with a concert by the chamber music ensemble Le Consort, known for interpreting the trio sonata repertoire with a modern perspective—performing works by Corelli, Vivaldi, Purcell, Couperin, and other masters of the Baroque chamber music repertoire. 9 pm. $75. friendsofmusic.org.
