Krewe of Harambee: This majestic parade celebrates Shreveport's African American community and culture under the philosophy of "Harambee," which translates to "Let's Pull Together" in Swahili. 1 pm from the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. kreweofharambee.net.

African American History Parade: This thirty-seventh annual parade celebrating the many contributions of Black Americans starts at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. sbfunguide.com.

Krewe de Riviere Mardi Gras Parade: Enjoy a traditional New Orleans feel with floats, walking groups, riding groups, and plenty of goodies. Parade starts at 1118 Natchitoches Street and ends at the intersection of Louisville Avenue and Oliver Road. 3 pm. monroe-westmonroe.org.

Krewe of Centaur: The largest parade in the Ark-La-Tex area, Shreveport's “Fun Krewe” is known for its raucously centurion celebration of the regional gambling industry. 3:30 pm starting at the corner of Lake Street and Clyde Fant Parkway, before traveling down the Shreveport-Barksdale Highway, to E.
