Nutcracker Auditions

Livingston Parish is holding auditions for a Christmas production of The Nutcracker, presented by Tri-Parish Ballet and Houston Ballet.

Audition times:

12:30 pm-1 pm: Boys 7 & older

1 pm-1:45 pm: Girls 7-9

1:45 pm-2:30 pm: Girls 10-11

2:30 pm-3:30 pm: Girls 12-14

3:15 pm-4:15 pm: Advanced dancers (if in pointe, bring shoes)

There is a $5.00 audition fee. Dancers should arrive 15 minutes early to warm up and fill out audition form. Audition is open to all dancers 7 years old and older. There is a small costume fee due at first rehearsal. Girls should arrive in a leotard, tights, ballet shoes, with hair in a bun. Boys should arrive in moveable clothing. All dancers need to know their height and weight. Mandatory rehearsals with our professional staff will be on either Saturday or Sunday from October until the week of the performances. Depending on the dancer’s role, rehearsals are one to two hours long. Performance dates are December 9 & 10. (225) 665-3414 or Triparishballet@aol.com.
