"Erin" by Glenda Jennison Smith
From 1960 through the 1990s, artist Glenda Kinnison Smith traveled throughout her home in Winnsboro–Franklin Parish, painting the cherubic faces of its young people. Recognized as the town-portraitist for years, Smith froze time for countless northeast Louisiana families. Her work, gathered from family homes across the parish, will be on display at the Old Post Office Museum in Winnsboro from January 29–February 28. Free. oldpostofficemuseum.com
