Painting Workshop with Erik Koeppel

Artists interested in learning more about the “plein air style of painting” may want to participate in this three-day workshop by acclaimed artist Erik Koeppel, the judge of the 2017 Shadows-on-the-Teche Plein Air Competition held the week before the workshop. This workshop is intended for artists seeking to enhance their skills in painting natural scenes within the open landscape. Mr. Koeppel’s detailed study of the techniques and philosophy of the Hudson River School artists has led to his leadership in a revival of these artists as instructors for modern painters.
