Where Plain Folk Live

At the twenty-second annual Ione E. Burden Symposium, distinguished historians will explore the interior living spaces occupied by Louisiana's yeoman farmers. Reservations are required. The symposium, entitled "Where Plain Folk Live" will be held at the LSU Rural Life Museum and includes a country lunch and speaker's reception. 8 am–3 pm. $40 includes lectures and lunch. 4560 Essen Lane.
