Rachel Libeskind: "If There Be Nothing New, But That Which Is"

In a fast-paced, over-stimulated, deeply online world, Rachel Libeskind's large-scale works center small movements, finite experiences, and passive moments that make visible the quiet, slow moments of daily life. In If There Be Nothing New, But That Which, Libeskind is inspired by philosopher Jacques Lacan’s theories on visual culture and time exploring mundane moments through collage and printmaking. hilliardartmuseum.org.
