Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre closes out its 2016—2017 season with Rapunzel: A Storybook Ballet, an original take on the long-haired damsel in distress conceived, choreographed, and directed by Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre’s Rebecca Acosta and Jonna Cox. “We had the creative freedom to develop something brand new and were able to come up with some exciting and imaginative ways to bring our vision for the ballet to life,” said Acosta. 7:30 pm on Friday; 2 pm on Saturday. $22–$45. batonrougeballet.org.
