The Natchez Festival of Music presents an evening of beautiful woodwind music to celebrate the hundred-year anniversary of the life of world-renowned French flutist Jean Pierre Rampal. The evening of music highlighting the flute will include captivating works by Gioachino Rossini, Albert Roussel, and Francis Poulenc to celebrate Rampal's music and legacy. Featured musicians include Italian flutist Fabio Angelo Colajanni, Brazilian flutist Danilo Mezzadri, vocalist Susan Ruggiero, and pianist Brian Murphy; performing a concert whose tour began in Rome, Italy earlier this year for a Natchez audience at the Carriage House at Stanton Hall. $30, and cash bar will be available. 7 pm.
