Remembering Emmett

Seventy years after Emmett Till's kidnapping and murder, the Emmett Till Interpretive Center honors Till's memory and the legacy of Mamie Till-Mobley’s decision to “let the world see” in the wake of the tragedy. In this three-day remembrance, the center will host a series of activities at Mississippi Valley State University, including a theatrical performance, memorial service, conversations and dialogues, and a wreath-laying ceremony, among others.
