Schoolhouse Rock Live
The pop-culture phenomenon comes to the 30 by Ninety Theatre stage. Schoolhouse Rock—the Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that used clever, tuneful songs to teach history, grammar, and math—is lighting up stages in this musical theatre reimagining. Schoolhouse Rock Live! follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through songs like "Just A Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly," and "Conjunction Junction." September 11—27 at 880 Lafayette Street. 7:30 pm Friday and Saturday, 2:30 pm Sunday. $15 kids, $27 adults. (844) 843-3090 or facebook.com/30byNinety.
