Shadows Merry Making Season

It's merry-making season at Shadows-On-The-Teche, which means a stroll back in time to how the nineteenth century celebrated, and decorated for, the holidays. Colorful decorations, antique toys, and a Christmas tree decorated with period ornaments are all featured in period rooms; guides will highlight the differences—and the similarities—of today's celebrations from those of yesteryear. Take a tour with this holiday twist from December 1 until December 31.
