Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition Exploring Water's Environmental and Cultural Impact

Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve's Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center is excited to welcome a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian called Water/Ways, about the ways water impacts environment and culture. The exhibition will be open each Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 am through 4 pm throughout June, with special events each Saturday:
June 5: Friends of Bayou LaFourche Boat Parade, 10 am–12 pm.
June 12: Water in Art, 10 am–12 pm.
June 19: Birding in the Water, 9 am–11 am.
June 26: Family Water Discovery Day, 10 am–12 pm.
