SoFAB Research Center and Boyd Library Kick-Off Event

The Southern Food & Beverage Museum and Nunez Community College have combined resources to open the SoFAB Research Center on Nunez's campus in St. Bernard. The new center will provide a home for SoFAB's massive collection of tens of thousands of historical culinary resources from cookbooks, to pamphlets, to artifacts, and beyond. The goal is for the center to serve as a resource and research facility for not only Nunez students, but for researchers and interested individuals from throughout the South. This resource will be presented to the community with an opening kick-off event, starting with a reception at 9:30 am at the Nunez Community College Library, 3710 Paris Road in Chalmette. Free.
