Louisiana Poet Laureate Dr. Mona Lisa Saloy will speak at the Main Branch Library in conjunction with LPB's event "Spinning Yarn: The Tradition of Southern Storytellers"

Following a half-hour preview of the Southern Storytellers series, acclaimed storytellers from a variety of formats such as Louisiana Poet Laureate Dr. Mona Lisa Saloy, "The Yarnspinner" Angela Davis, and Emmy-winning filmmaker Nathan Willis will share stories of their own at the East Baton Rouge Main Branch Library. 3 pm–5 pm.
