Splatter Works
Terrebonne Parish Library 151 Library Drive, Houma, Louisiana
Rather than lazing around, why not use summer to get your hands dirty and pick up a new sense of yourself? Every Monday in June and July, Terrebonne Parish Library System hosts Splatter Works, an all-ages, family-friendly activity. The non-traditional artistic experience—geared toward all skill levels—includes tactile, movement-based projects that will explore unique ways to create. Participants will be exposed to art that uses many unconventional mediums and tools, such as spray bottles, plungers, water balloons, and even their own feet. Patrons should wear clothes they do not mind dirtying up. 5:30 pm each day. Contact Naomi Magola at (985) 876-5861 ext. 3 for more details. mytpl.org.
