When literary editor Alice Murphy crosses paths with Billy, a young soldier who’s just returned from World War II, secrets of the past must come to light. Taking place in the American South during the 1920s and ‘40s, the setting of Bright Star highly compliments the mystifying and deeply moving tone of this musical featuring a Tony-nominated score by Steve Martin and Edie Brickel.
