The Art of Vinyl

Though music has been shared in many mediums through the decades, many purists believe the experience and sound of vinyl remains unmatched. A new exhibition in the Mezzanine Gallery of the Hammond Regional Arts Center will explore the culture of vinyl records and their place in contemporary art through the years. Record album cover art curated from private collections will be highlighted as an artistic medium with transformative power from the 1960s through the present.
