Returning this year with its fresh and fun twists on orchestral music, Summer Pops brings together the Lake Charles Symphony and rock group Jeans 'n Classics for a night of platformed, bell-bottomed disco fun. Enjoy family-friendly eats like pizza, hot dogs, nachos, and ice cream while you soak in favorites from the iconic disco pop sensations ABBA. Songs like "Dancing Queen" and "Waterloo" will get a classic polish in the orchestral setting, but will still be just as danceable. Doors open at 6 pm at the Lake Charles Civic Center (900 Lakeshore Drive). Tickets start at $30. lcsymphony.com.
