History—how it is remembered, forgotten, used, or hidden—is examined through the stories of seven women whose existence (or presumed existence) relies on brief, fragmented footnotes and brief passages in Christian and Hebrew Bibles and other scriptural texts and surrounding legends. Written by Lafayette-based actor, storyteller, author, playwright, and workshop leader Patricia Drury Sidman, There's More to the Story will run at Cité des Arts, directed by Alicia Chaisson and performed by seven locally acclaimed actors. Shows are at 7:30 pm Friday and Saturday; 2 pm on Sunday. $20; $15 for seniors over 60. citedesarts.org.
