Threads of Evolution: Engineering a Community That Sparkles

The Louisiana Art & Science Museum's summer exhibition, Threads of Evolution: Engineering a Community That Sparkles, follows the journey of Jaime Glas Odom, who began her career as a petroleum engineer before diving into the fashion world to create flame-resistant workwear for women. Today known as the "Queen of Sparkles," her sequined, maximalist designs are sold in more than 1,500 boutiques across the country.
