The new Helis Foundation John Scott Center, which is open to the public, will host the following events in September:
September 17: The Eye of the Beholder: Why New Perspectives On Historical Documents Open Old Wounds—Join 2022 Humanities Book of the Year awardee Fatima Shaik for a lecture on the themes that arise with Constitution Day. 11 am–12:30 pm. Free.
September 22: Collaborating at the Crossroads: Activating Programming and Partnerships—This moderated panel discussion will introduce participants to the Scott Center, its offerings, and how to get involved. 4:30 pm–6:30 pm. Free.
