The four-hundred-acre Northlake Nature Center in Mandeville has plenty to offer during the month of May, especially for those looking to stretch their legs, breathe in some fresh air, and enjoy experiencing the beauty of nature.
January
Monday, January 2: “Line Dancing” led by Jeanne Schramm in the Pavilion. 6 pm. Free for Members; $5 for non-members.
Tuesday, January 10: “Kundalini Yoga” with Sally Dunn in the Pavilion. 1 pm. Free for members, non-members.
Wednesday, January 11: “Nature Walk and Titivation” at 10 am. Free.
Wednesday, January 18: “Nature Walk and Titivation” at 10 am. Free.
Saturday. January 21: “Walk in the Woods” and “Medicinal Plants with Kelly McGee” and “Plant I.D. with Rue McNeill”. 9 am. Free for Members; $5 for non-members.
Saturday. January 21: “Adult Storywalk” 11 am—3pm. Free for Members; $5 for non-members.
Sunday, January 22: “Dog Wag and Walk” with Sam at 8 am. Free for Members; $5 for non-members.
Wednesday, January 25: “Nature Walk and Titivation” at 10 am. Free.
Sunday, January 29: “Bicycling the Back Trails” and “Tips to Trail Riding” with The Bike Path owner David Moeller at 9 am.
