Acrylic Louisiana-focused artist William Crowell seeks to draw out the spirit, culture, and uniqueness of the region through his works. In Louisiana: The Dream State, he evokes memories of universal, place-centered experiences through idealized landscapes and genre portraits. Opening reception held in conjunction with Art for Art's Sake from 6 pm–9 pm on October 5, and the exhibition will be on display through October 31.  gallery600julia.com.
