The innovative, arts-forward, anti-profit group Yes We Cannibal is hosting talks and performances with artists in person, as well as streamed to Twitch in their Meat Meet Salon Series. Sundays 4 pm–6 pm at Yes We Cannibal's Government Street space or twitch.tv/yeswecannibal. Free. The schedule is as follows:
December 12: Meat Meet #36: HEAR HERE v. 2––An experimental improvisation by Hal Lambert of Tentative Power in which two names of musical artists are drawn from a hat to inspire a short set of experimental music.
December 19: Meat Meet #37: For the final Meat Meet of 2021, New Orleans artist Shining Fields (formerly known as Proud Father), Baton Rouge sound and visual artist Ruin Garden, and drummer and rhythm-based musician Hidden Hands will come together for a unique performance of music and art.
